To Check for connectivity, you need to check in the following two places only:

  1. Watch Quick Settings: The Watch > Quick Settings Panel (Available on edge-swipe-up from the watch face) shows if the watch and phone are connected.
  2. Phone App Menu: The Phone App > Menu shows if the watch and phone are connected with a colored dot and text.

BOTH Watch Quick Settings and Phone App Menu need to show ‘Connected’ for them to be connected. Sometimes, just opening the Phone App will connect the watch and phone. If this doesn’t work, select the state your watch and phone are in to get a quick fix:

Any one of Watch Quick Settings and Phone App Menu show ‘Not Connected’

  1. On iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth  and check if bluetooth is ON
  2. On Blink Watch, go to Settings > Connectivity  and check if bluetooth is ON
  3. Close the Phone App and open it again. Check for connectivity
  4. On iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Switch off bluetooth > Switch on bluetooth > Check for connectivity
  5. On Blink Watch, go to Settings > Connectivity > Switch off bluetooth > Switch on bluetooth > Check for connectivity
  6. On Blink Watch, long press the power button > Power off the watch > Power on the watch > Check for connectivity
  7. On iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Forget all Blink devices > Open Phone App > Wait for pairing request > Accept pairing request > Check for connectivity > You still need to enable Internet by going to Phone App > Preferences > Internet and following the instructions there
  8. If its still not connected, check here for instructions

Watch is ‘Logged Out’ on the ‘Open the Blink App to start pairing’ screen but Phone App Menu shows ‘Connected’

  1. On iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth  and check if bluetooth is ON
  2. On iPhone, go to Menu Bar > Tap on ‘Connected’ text > Check if the watch logged in > Check for connectivity
  3. If its still not connected, check here for instructions

Watch is ‘Logged Out’ on the ‘Open the Blink App to start pairing’ screen but Phone App Menu shows ‘Not Connected’

  1. On iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth  and check if bluetooth is ON
  2. Close the Phone App and open it again. Check for connectivity
  3. If the Phone App Menu turns to ‘Connected’, go to Menu Bar > Tap on ‘Connected’ text > Check if the watch logged in > Check for connectivity
  4. If its still not connected, check here for instructions

Watch Quick Settings shows ‘Connected’ or ‘Not Connected’ and Phone App is ‘Logged Out’

  1. On Blink Watch, go to Settings > Connectivity > Logout
  2. Once the watch is ‘Logged out’, Login again using the Phone App
  3. If its still not connected, check here for instructions

Watch Quick Settings shows ‘Not Connected’ and you have already uninstalled your Phone App

  1. On Blink Watch, go to Settings > Connectivity > Logout
  2. Once the watch is ‘Logged out’, Login again using the Phone App
  3. If its still not connected, check here for instructions

in Android

Any one of Watch Quick Settings and Phone App Menu show ‘Not Connected’

  1. On Phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth  and check if bluetooth is ON
  2. On Blink Watch, go to Settings > Connectivity  and check if bluetooth is ON
  3. On Phone, go to Settings > Apps > Blink App > Force Stop the app > Open the app again. Check for connectivity.
  4. On Blink Watch, long press the power button > Power off the watch > Power on the watch > Check for connectivity
  5. Repeat the above step > Check for connectivity
