Panels freezing and refusing to swipe away

When stuck on display due to panel freeze or swipe not working, please follow the steps given below:

  • Press the side button, the display will move to the app space. From there go back to the app you intend to use
  • In case watch doesn’t respond on pressing the side button, long press the side button to turn off the watch. With a long press again, restart the watch

Not responding to button press

If your Blink doesn’t respond to the button press, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

  • On pressing the button if the watch vibrates but does not respond, it could be because of the watch either stuck in the launcher or in one of the application
  • Long press the button till the watch is switched off, followed by a restart of the watch
  • In case the watch is switched off and on long pressing the button watch vibrates but doesn’t switch on, it could be because of complete battery drain. Keep the watch for charge and then switch it on
  • If even after following the steps mentioned above there is no response, it could be a hardware issue. Please feel free to notify us on [email protected]

 

Difficulty in reading in sunlight

If the screen visibility in the sunlight/bright light  is low,

  • Swipe up on screen to go to quick setting –> touch on the outer ring and scroll clockwise to increase brightness
  • Alternatively, go to the app space→ select settings → Brightness → touch on the outer ring and scroll clockwise to increase brightness
  • If the screen still remains poorly lit, it could be a faulty display issue. Please feel free to notify us on [email protected]

 

Difficulty in tapping buttons

On tapping the buttons on the screen of the watch, if the watch takes time to respond or it takes multiple taps for an application/feature to respond:

  • It could be the application becoming unresponsive, try getting out the application to the app space or the home screen by pressing the back button or the side button. In case it still remains non-responsive,
  • Try restarting the watch, by switching it off and on again.
